Re: Chigumbara upbeat despite thrashing
Yes mate, but Tamim especially would have given his side a much bigger advantage than Oram or Styris could. Mashrafe is alright, but he's not the same anymore due to so many surgeries. By not being the same I mean he can no longer pick up wickets as much as he used to, he's more of an economical bow...

Re: Chigumbara upbeat despite thrashing
I wouldn't say Bangladesh are better than New Zealand just yet. New Zealand sent a very young team to Bangladesh, particularly on the batting front. Bangladesh would still struggle to match New Zealand in New Zealand, although most sides find New Zealand a difficult place to tour. Actually I though...

Re: Chigumbara upbeat despite thrashing
chigumbura would want to have a good series in bangladesh I think every Zimbabwe supporter would bro. We need a series win now against Bangladesh. They're better than the West Indies and New Zealand. I wouldn't say we are better than New Zealand yet, sure we beat them 4-0 and we did play very well....

Re: Shahadat Hossain
That can be said about pretty much all of the current bangladeshi pacers (except Mohammed Rubel, that guy's built). Shahadat is the mohammed ashraful of bowling for bangladesh, he is very inconsistent.

Re: our seamers pace??? something to worry about..
I don't really care about pace as long as they get wickets. Control and movement is much more important IMHO. Ya,you're right but pace above 140 is required to trouble the batsmen :) Ya exactly. Glen Mcgrath was a prime example. He was quick enough, around the 83-84mph mark and still manages to mov...

Re: Shahadat Hossain
Shahadat's original action was altered by Bangladesh's former bowling coach Champaka Ramanayeke. That may be why his pace is lower than his rookie years. Nowadays, he bowls with a bit more accuracy but less pace and barely any movement. Shahadat recently stated that he may go back to his old style o...

Re: The future of cricket.
Instead of completely eliminating ODI's, I think it should be made a world-cup only format. There should be a large organization willing to put together top club teams from around the world and create a t20 tournament similar to that of the UAEFA champions league in soccer. Also, the number of test ...
