Re: Under 19 Select
I agree CrimsonAvenger. Give them a cap now... from the players perspective, because they are so young there's no downside even if they do have England ambitions.
Re: Under 19 Select
milton shumba is a good batsman but i am not
a fan because he is too patient ends up putting whosoever
is batting with him or the following batsman to be
under pressure .. barely attacks bowlers, always in his
shell defence mode .. does not take enough singles
talented though .. robinson has been disappointing this
series but i believe they should stick with him, he is
good enough to stand tall to tall with frost & jayden.

Re: Under 19 Select
There is no such bloke as Trent Jayden.
Re: Under 19 Select
Maybe there is a younger Chiradza. If so my rant was unnecessary.
Shumba doesn't seem to have an attacking stroke in his arsenal.
Eddie Byrom scored a good ton for Canterbury in NZ.
Nick Welch back to back hundreds in Cape Town as well.
Trent Jayden is in fine form, seems to be getting better and better.
My opinion is that you have to play FC first. u19 and men's cricket are different animals.

Re: Under 19 Select
135 all out, Schadendorf Jayden Trent will need to get a rush on if he wants another 100, nice to see the lads are following their elders style of play letting Namibia put on 69 for the last 3 wickets ......
Update: Schadentrent den Orfjay gone for 4, is he now past his best?

Old De'clan Rieve might have to play a blinder later on after doing his bit with the ball.Train Driver wrote:Update: Schadentrent den Orfjay gone for 4, is he now past his best?

Re: Under 19 Select
Jayden got an unplayable, Jakiel-esque delivery. Nothing he could have done with it.

All down to the decider on friday now, good partnership between Shumba Daniel and Zvidzai Milton saving Zim from the expected crash of wickets
