And that is why the sweep should be avoided unless its warranted.

Says something about our frontline spinners.
Both "part-timers" being preferred over our "main" spinners.
This is a strong case for an 8-3 combo. On a spinning wicket, Williams and Raza are as good as any of our other spinners (other than Cremer).

Right now Raza is a one man bowling attack. BD has to see off the seamers.
Tall ask.

i was thinking the same. Ridiculous that our 2nd and third bnest spinners are Raza and Willo.me_amirali wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 5:28 amSays something about our frontline spinners.

Concerningly, as impressed as i have been, i dont think they can do it all on their own. Sri Lanka situation all over again. They WILL need a third bowler to step up with at least a 3fer.

Jarvis is unlucky to not have at least one more wicket due to a dropped catch.

I Agree they can't do it alone or should not be expected to do it alone. But I don't think someone like Mavuta has the temperament, skill and patience to string together 6 good deliveries.

Singles coming quite fluently.
Riyad really needs to prove his worth in the Test lineup.
