What an unbelievable set of games. First Zim's near record breaking win, then Netherlands pull that out of nowhere.

Does anyone know what the different scenarios are from here? Obviously if we win our remaining games we qualify - and with the current form why not aim for that!

But presumably these upset losses for the WI will make it very hard for them now?

So Zimbabwe could conceivably lose to Sri Lanka, and as long as we beat Scotland/Oman we'd be okay?

Is there any scenario where we could lose two of the remaining games and still qualify?

I'm weary of West Indies absolutely flogging Sri Lanka out of nowhere if the ICC is trying to get the result they want

That was bloody incredible!!! What a match.

I’ve always had a soft spot for the Dutch so this is just awesome.

Hopefully WICB stick with Sammy though. I like him and think he’ll sort them out if given time

I would not bank on losing 2 games and still Qualify but now that possibility is also there.

We can have a situation where in Zimbabwe, Scotland and Netherlands/West Indies all get tied on 6 points and then again it goes down to NRR, which Zimbabwe atm are bossing.

But there is no way I would want to go that route.

The good thing about today's result is that now WI cannot force a three way tie at 8 points. So as long as Zimbabwe beat Oman and Scotland, we are through. Absolutely no doubting that now.

I had absolutely no idea that this game was being televised. I was watching Williams and Co dry bum the US all afternoon when I could have been watching this.

It just shows though that the gap between associate nation and full member nation isn't that big anymore and the ICC have well and truly fucked up here. Even a 12 team world cup would have been much better. They're now truly at risk of not having the West Indies at the world cup due to their own greed. Fuck the ICC. Hopefully this opens their eyes

Well done to the Dutch! That wicket looked like an absolute road at Takashinga today. I've seen a few clips and it looked completely flat. Not sure if it was bad bowling or just outstanding batting from the Netherlands but either way, the West Indies have really fallen off the radar. So sad.

It's a shame though because the Dutch still won't be going to the world cup. The fact they have it in them to majorly upset the apple cart like they have today shows they warrant a place. Its criminal.

There'll be a cricinfo article about the format now but you can guarantee that if it the West Indies had won all their games nothing would have been said. If Zimbabwe was getting beat the big wigs wouldn't be bothered.

This WCQ is brilliant and I'm revilling in the fact that the little guys are punching above their weight. Weather is be Scotland beating Ireland, Zimbabwe beating the Windies or the Dutch today
