Sloandog mentioned the white faces in Byo. 90% of them only turn up to the crunch games, same as here in Harare.
That bird has mostly flown. It's a long road to recovery.
They too will support any Zim team doing well.
I recall one soccer game years ago where thousands pitched up for a crunch game at the National stadium

I’m on a flight on Tuesday  Might be a good thing for the old blood pressure that I miss most of the match though

Aside from Kaia and Marumani do we have any other domestic players that would do well at this level?

Jeez Regis' time has surely come and gone?

Mayavo at 7 in place of Jongwe any day of the week

Mayavo has an even worse record than Gumbie, and the fact you were right about Joylord is already quite frankly miraculous!

No way you are going to be right twice

Geez the forum has really gone to pieces over this loss. The fear of course is always there that if the team fails on Tuesday then we will see a repeat of 2018 where the blame game turned into a racial shit storm and we all know what happened then. You'd like to think everyone learnt a good lesson from that and the same mistakes won't be made again.

But honestly, they lost one game and you guys want to start talking about blacks v whites that's really poor

I remember Jongwe scoring 43 in his first game
The lineup should be this against Scotland

Gumbie
Craig
Kaia
Sean W
Raza
Burl
Madhevere for his bowling and less pressure at 7 otherwise Jongwe
Welly
Evans
Ngarava
Blessing

Muyeye just banged 170 odd. His first century. Such a loss. Its his own doing though. He doesn't care about us
I see him open with Compton and wonder if Ben would ever fancy playing for Zim seeing that his chance for an English debut might be slimmer than that of a younger Muyeye.

Some people just have to bring race after one bad game  . Absolute pity for how desperate they are.

Hate to say I told you so, but this loss has exposed how fragile our team is.

3 good balls to get rid of Ervine/Williams and Raza and any team in this comp would beat us.

Of course, many other teams you could say the same, but firstly, we are meant to be a test side, and secondly, whether other teams are also fragile or not doesnt make us any less fragile.

This fact will no doubt weigh heavily on the minds of our key guys tomorrow.
