Move on from Chatara , he's done at international levelMr Twig wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 10:53 amIf Chatara outperforms then he’s back in the Zim team, simple as that. Other guys need to do better.TapsC2 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 8:53 amWhat if Chatara outperforms every bowler now that he is playing domestic? Could we not have a similar situation like the big 3 where the other guys just aren't good enough? I would actually say our fast bowling options are a lot less than our batting options.
After Evans, Gwandu and Chivanga who else? I don't want him back but its just an interesting perspective especially because fast bowlers get injured regularly too.

Career best score for Chari.

Larry being miserly
where was this in the qualifiers hey.

That is extremely concerning if Chatara is still in the top 4 fast bowlers in the country.
You have to assume the obvious 2 and Evans are better.
If that is the case then you just have to go spin I think when naming an international side and any of those 3 aren’t available.
How has Nyauchi been going?

For Chatara, a player that can’t bat, can’t field, is 32 and is bowling early 120s, not always accurately, to be debated whether he should still play internationally is extrenely problematic.
I would have hoped that with the above the debate is whether he should be picked in the Logan cup going forward or not.

Positive to see 2 400+ scores, when was the last time we saw that

Couldn't agree more. It is really concerning if Chatara is one of the better bowlers ar domestic circuit. Shows why Zimbabwe are missing out in a 20 team event.ZIMDOGGY wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 12:33 pmThat is extremely concerning if Chatara is still in the top 4 fast bowlers in the country.
