Looks like Madziva has done quite well on FC return after a year

I won’t drop this. The amount of game time lost to a wet outfield at Takashinga this season is criminal. Why why why why why are they continuing to play fixtures there

Dont think Pakistani domestic cricketers make enough money to just go down to Zim for a visit :ppillowprocter wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 6:35 pmreckon he's mates with one of the pakistani bowlers, came down for a visit and got drafted in?secretzimbo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 1:33 pmRoutine Logan Cup century for Ervine.

Re: Logan Cup ( Rhinos vs Eagles & Tuskers v Southern Rocks)

Re: Logan Cup ( Rhinos vs Eagles & Tuskers v Southern Rocks)
Rhinos are at least 1 possibly 2 batters short this week. They are effectively playing 4 batsmen, a keeper and 6 bowlers.
Burl is unavailable, Naqvi is ill, and I don't know where Masvaure and Musakanda are - I assume injured (or drug tested. You never know these days!).
Rhinos are very reluctant to try fringe or young guys out. Statistically they have used far fewer players over the last three years than any of the other 4 franchises.

No, I think in an ideal world, 'in theory', many would agree with you on this.
But in reality all it would lead to is even fewer opportunities for those that deserve them. Franchise selelction isn't fair as it is and it's unlikely that would suddenly approve. Even if you only had 2 franchises you can guarantee the same over-the-hill guys or favorites would get picked every week regardless.
No way someone like Matt Welch would have even made his FC debut yet if we only had 4 franchises.
