How come our bowlers can't repeat and consistently bowl in the same area all through the over, they throw in 6 different deliveries. Only Chivanga has repeated 5 or 6 in an over
Simple. Reward for consistency. Good bowling lad.

Most of our boys have forgotten that a test match is a war of attrition. Hit the same line and length and grind away with bat and ball. Whoever has the stronger mind wins.

PJ scoring big runs today is the most certain thing ever.

Tempted to get down to Moors World of Sport and bet my house on it
Picked it like a blocked nose!
I’m happy for him though. If memory serves he wasn’t desparate to leave. ZC needs ongoing reminders on the importance of talent retention and treating players well.

Only in Zimbabwe cricket you will not understand why is Madande keeping when you have a better Wicket Keeper in Gumbie playing the game.

Madande is having a nightmare of a debut.
You can't expect a guy to keep wicket and open in Tests. Additionally, Gumbie's natural style and also the team needs are for him to bat as long as possible up at the top.
Is it a big deal if we bat first though? If anything he gets more a rest between innings.
Unless of course he Carrie’s his bat through, but that’s a good isssue to have if it comes to it!

Well he seemed to think he had a god given right to selection despite being in pretty awful form for quite a while and struggling to score a run domestically. He didn’t take well to getting dropped. He also has significant personal beef with Masakadza I believe, over the years. So with Hammy running the show as DoC I suppose Ireland seemed a better option.

It’s taken him quite a while to do anything Ireland but I am really pleased for him.
Still, I hope we get him out soon

Couple of wickets at least! Need a few more. I'm not watching the match but looks like some disciplined bowling by Chivanga.

He's been very wayward unfortunately. The few he's managed to get on target have caused problems though
