So it's interesting, there's a very big coloured community in Bulawayo. They literally have their own culture and tend to stick together.
In what way? Are there any other cities/towns where it's like that?

Rahmat could crack 300 in this game. Williams and Ervine must be spewing that they didn't go on and make big daddy hundreds.

This puts our first innings into perspective a bit, but it's not a bad thing to play on a deck like this from time to time because it's given Bennett and to a lesser extent Curran some nice memories at this level. And the subcontinent teams (looking at you Pakistan) regularly get to pad their stats on highways.

Maybe Myers is worth a few overs. Masakadza used to be our medium-pace golden arm and we need someone like that right now!
Yes to a new Golden Arm!

There's a couple of neighbourhoods in Harare that are mostly coloured folk. Braeside ek sê.

I dunno, slight differences, hard to pinpoint. Strong family bonds, they have a rep for being aggressive and settling scores with bottles and knives  The white dudes are always careful not to annoy them
They call us honkies. Not sure why

It's always interesting hearing about things like this. Ed Rainsford is from Kadoma, is there a community there too?

What about Afrikaner communities? Are there any pockets left in farming areas?

Well at least they're trying something with the short-pitched bowling. Probably won't last though

They're going to rack up a massive total here, this is heading towards a pretty dull draw.

I don't really blame the bowlers for this performance, this is such a flat track I think the ZCF XI would also have a few centurions.

Nyamhuri has got potential. I wouldn't be against replacing Mavuta with Raza for the next game.

This is why I was not over excited about Zimbabwe's total. I knew until Afghanistan bat we don't know how the pitch is and this is a terrible pitch... Or may be it's ok because it nullifies their bowlers completely and draw is still a fair result for Zimbabwe.

However. There is still plenty of time left in this test. Zimbabwe still need a avoid a second innings collapse.

Yea he's asked three times. I got locked out the other day because it all of a sudden didn't recognise my password. It was only after persistent attempts it randomly let me back in. As a poster of 15 years, I would hate to be unable to post.

All things considered, it's mostly okay. There's thousands upon thousands of spam posts and users in the backend that don't make it through; the vast majority of legitimate ones do.

I don't have access to make further changes because the forum software is quite old. I saved a list of the user emails some time back so that if one day it all crashes I can send an update by email and we'll figure out where to become refugees -- hopefully the forum software keeps ticking along for a while to come though.

They shouldn't relax here. Still lots of cricket to play. A day 5 collapse can happen if we aren't careful.
