Tony Grieg is one of those who seem to believe that cricket should not be extended outside the traditional top 8 - he was complaining last year about the amount of money the ICC was spending on the Associates development programmes, arguing that it should instead be spent propping up faltering sides like the West Indies. Any complaints about the position of Zimbabwe or Bangladesh would come from the same mindset. For all that he's a decent commentator, I wouldn't give any time to his views on the structure of the international game.

Yea i really dislike his views, cricket needs small teams too otherwise it wouldn't be that fun.
