The DOJE thing is idiotic and a smoke show for the morons who support Trump. Federal workers make up less than one percent of the U.S. budget and the tax cuts they are proposing for the top one percent will increase the deficit by an estimated $4 trillion. Unless they have significant cuts in either Social Security and Medicare or Defense - which is around 70% of the U.S. budget, nothing goes down.
