If you're hanging your hat on inflation reaching 20% you're going to cry. I think you'd be better off sticking it all on Space X and putting your feet up for a couple of years.

Markets went up in anticipation of the Trump presidency, they're volatile because of the tariff thing, it will all calm down when he stops his bluster and people will see if the Doje thing works. We're loving watching the corruption come to light. It makes every single shit-hole African country look squeaky clean in comparison.

The tariff thing that is getting everyone's panties in a bunch is just a red herring to get people to negotiate. Stay calm.

Tax cuts are across the board. You tax the rich they take their money elsewhere.

There's surely a difference between migrant workers and illegal aliens. They're locking it down for now but that will resolve. You weigh up the costs of what 30 million illegals costs your country vs more expensive labour it's a no contest.

What I find alarming is their plan to create a sovereign fund. They're smart people but that needs to be really transparent or that's going to be a genuine theft right up there with what Ken Sharp has done here.
Also alarming is his handling of the Ukraine and Mid East issue. He's clueless. Russia ain't letting America anywhere near Ukraine.
Keir Starmer is pledging troops and they're talking about conscription- the fastest way to get 3 million Zimbabweans back home
If anyone wants facts watch every single thing Colonel Macgregor puts out. The man is a genius.

I see our Gold Mafia has been at Fort Knox, a whole chunk of your gold reserve has vanished. You live in the most corrupt nation on earth.

We can finally watch MSM again, the hysteria is fun. President Musk is keeping us entertained.

If you want inflation to reach triple figures within a year pull some strings and get our genius economists over there forthwith to help President Musk.

Idk if it will hit 20%...would be interesting to get the thoughts of the maga base who thought 10% was bad if it does go back to 10% or hits 20...most of them only make 50K a year or less.

The China tariffs are already in place. And almost all of our goods come from China. Jamie Dimon who is pro Trump said that tariffs will raise prices, but that its a necessary evil. Easy for him to say he's got 2.5 billion dollars!

Not across the board. Everyone under 300K - which is about 98% will see tax increases. They can't take their money elsewhere if their business is domiciled in the US...

How would approach the wealth fund, Ukraine, and Middle East differently? They all seem to be very profitable plans from a money standpoint...

Googly, what is the deal with Ken Sharpe? I’ve always wondered what his MO is.

He and Chombo are/were the masters of municipal land swaps for various deals like fixing roads etc. They now own hundreds of acres of prime municipal land and Harare Muncipality has not seen a lot in return. The corruption is American-like.
He has very very very (3 very's  ) strong Russian connections initially through his wife, I saw a post from her on a WhatsApp group threatening action against anyone else posting something negative about one of their housing projects going up in a green belt. They're essentially above the law. He had a bad snow ski-ing accident and had serious brain trauma a while back, but seems to have eventually recovered. He's a smart extremely wealthy influential guy for sure.

I knew his dad quite well. One of the Shamva stalwarts back in the day, a mining man.

Well the core inflation index just got released 30 mins ago and came in at 2.6%, as the Fed (central bank) expected. So crisis averted for the time being and the markets should pop back up barring any other unforseen catalysts.

The DOJE thing is idiotic and a smoke show for the morons who support Trump. Federal workers make up less than one percent of the U.S. budget and the tax cuts they are proposing for the top one percent will increase the deficit by an estimated $4 trillion. Unless they have significant cuts in either Social Security and Medicare or Defense - which is around 70% of the U.S. budget, nothing goes down. It's very simple math, unfortunately very simple people don't understand it.
