Eagles batting has imploded. This pitch is obviously tricky to say the least. Faraz was 2 off 30 when he went out.
Both teams have persevered with seam when to me it looks like the spin would be more damaging.
Franchise Round 9 - Pro50 & Logan (3- 9 March)
Re: Franchise Round 9 - Pro50 & Logan (3- 9 March)
This really is a strange game. Frost is 6 off 43 and Gumbie is 40 off 50.
Re: Franchise Round 9 - Pro50 & Logan (3- 9 March)
Gumbie maybe finally turned his slump around
Re: Franchise Round 9 - Pro50 & Logan (3- 9 March)
Silly way to get out from Gumbie u've just hit the first ball of the over for six. why would you fill the need to have another go. but that inning secures his spot no doubt.
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

And Matigumu promptly promoted to the new ball and bowls six measly, Curtly-like overs

Re: Franchise Round 9 - Pro50 & Logan (3- 9 March)
Ya that was very strange. Not as strange as NW chipping a full toss from a spinner to cover
, don't think I've seen that before.

Almost went out to another full toss

Re: Franchise Round 9 - Pro50 & Logan (3- 9 March)
And dropped at slip. Russell ragging it, gets so much energy on the ball with a big loop.

Nick Welch will finish the Logan Cup as the leading run scorer. With the selectors now obsessed with domestic stats it bodes well.
