Lives half the year with his mom in the uk and the other half with his dad in Zim, so he’s eligible. Been playing for Newton Reigny first team since he was 13. He fancies an NPL gig this season and backs himself to break into a franchise side in the next few seasons.

Can't believe Diplock hasnt had the career he deserves in FC cricket. Personally I think he was the best swing bowler in amateur cricket in the UK last year. He got massive amounts of in swing and bowled around 80mph. He was a handful and he absolutely walloped it with the bat too, with the addition of a solid technique.
I tried to get him to Woodhouses CC but we'd pretty much finalised talks with Aviwe Mgjima from SA. Lovely guy, but flopped massively
Re: Zimbabweans in the UK 2025
He’s a great bowler when it’s swinging, agreed. Easily in the top 5 seamers Zim has to offer if playing in English conditions was a constant. Feel kinda bad for him not having had a big career franchise wise, but he’s a really good lad. Had a beer with him last summer and with Greg, too, mind you.
Evans will be a good signing. Sure he will tear it up in English conditions for sure. Bit of an arrogant bugger but an extremely good bowler.

I'm gutted I never met up with him last summer. Crossed wires and ships passing in the night and all that. He seemed like a great bloke who's been the victim of a lot of bias and a bit of racism.L.S wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 2:20 pmHe’s a great bowler when it’s swinging, agreed. I've heard Evans is a good lad from a lot of people. Either way, the boy can bowl
