They’re clamping down hard on the quota, I can only watch 7.3 overs an innings these days.

Mountaineers drop Nick Welch for the final game clearly he is not in the T20 future plans for the national team. Yet they persist with Gumbie.
He hurt his shoulder previous game. He's our best T20 opener, a blind man can see that.
What was b/s was them dropping MW for Gumbie that game. It was off the back of that innings where both he and Bennett went at a run a ball in the power play, losing the game basically in the first 4 overs.
Mountaineers really fucked up this T20 comp.
Maruma didn't make the first game because they refused to give him fuel money. Yes you read that correctly.
In a big run chase you have to open with NW, nobody else can chase down 190 against tidy bowling.
Gumbie ahead of MW is ridiculous.
Shadendorf would probably have made a difference.
Mike Frost should be in that team for his bowling.

Just stupid managament decisions game after game

Where was Schandendorf? Hadn’t played since December I think.

To be fair M Welch struggled in the first few games, scoring less than a run a ball. He has a lot of work to do on his T20 game.

Curran sold Kataino there. He is not a great runner between the wicket is Ben, always takes a couple of steps down the wicket and then stops.

Not a great T20 player is Ben, too limited.

I have never been a big fan of holding your gloves down the non strikers end
