No, just today. It's a bit weird because he was part of the 4 day game, not sure how he got to play today.

Marumani played both games but didnt get much of a score in either one. He is seriously out of form. Shumba turning up for Gladiators. Weird for him to miss the FC games but show up for these club games perhaps its off season down under. And he is almost at that age too when players decide its just not happening with ZC and disappear into the coaching realms.
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

People will hang around until Williams, Ervine, BT and Raza get wheeled off and then wait and see who become the Chosen Ones. Shumba will always be thereabouts, he's a really good player. He must be wondering what happened because he was always a chosen one as a junior and got cast aside. Welcome to our world, Milton, a reality check.
It was tough to make those Northern Southern starting elevens. We've suddenly got quite a few good players vying for spots.

That's why certain guys need annual FC contracts. If good players decide to throw in the towel when they realize a central contract is not forthcoming the franchise standard will plummet further, which we can ill afford. ZC won't be forthcoming with that, which is extremely short sighted.
I spoke to a couple of businessmen at a franchise game and they said they'd gladly sponsor if they knew the money would be spent correctly. We do have sponsors of course, but there would be a lot more if people were more comfortable.

Selectors in their wisdom didn't think Sean Bennett was worthy of the final 16 for the last u19 world cup.
Benjamin banks too.

He isn't. Wasn't magnificent in the T20s.

Best ball striker in the country, and still only 23. Strong domestic record across formats. If there is anyone who deserves to be persisted with, it's this guy. Personally, I'd much rather have him coming in at 7 in the test team than Mayavo or Tsiga.

490 for Rangers today, and another defeat for Takashinga 1.

Overall, another shambolic Vigne Cup weekend, with games cancelled due to unfit pitches, and teams playing short sided.

Amazing how some of the much more budget rural leagues actually seem to function better...
