Zimbabwe in 2009 - Where will they go?

Post by zimdan »

Ok so Zimbabwe are 1-2 for 2009 so far so how do we all feel they are going to compete in 2009.

Personally i still dont hold any hope for a test return however i was very suprsied at beating Bangladesh the other day and glad they actually made me eat my words, but it was all scuppered by a shocking dsplay in the 2nd ODI.

If Zimbabwe are to play the planned 20ODI's in 2009 then i feel winning at least 5 of them is a suitable target. One which would keep the ICC happy....what are your thoughts?

Attainment of expectations are firmly decided by the team put on the pitch. If the best Zimbabwean lineup was to take guard out of all possibilities then 10 could be possible. With another outbreak of player disease then 19 further losses will come about.

Id like to hear your thoughts. Here within the country cricket morale couldnt be any lower so we need some insriration from the team.

I think we should win the Bangladesh and Kenya series, lets hope we don't choke. And aim to to do well in other future series, if arranged. We got Bangladesh again in August haven't we??

surely winning 5 is way too low, there's still the series against Bangladesh, the Kenya 5 ODI's, a few more series against Bangladesh later in the year, a tri series and a tour to sri lanka. I think 10-12 would be a better target
