The first time I heard the phrase "Crimson Avenger" was in the Disney's The Adventures of Gummi Bears, where Cubbi Gummi wears the red outfit and doubles up as the Crimson Avenger and goes about "saving the world" from Duke Igthorn and his Ogre troops. That was a cute little character trying to show people around him that he can punch above his weight, precisely what Zim did regularly, until few years ago. Also, the red outfit was fitting too



Zim was my favorite team and Cubbi was my favorite character in that animated series. And I would vote for the Zim team to be called Crimson Avengers any day...
