I'm a pure bred Zim lad.
One of the hardest decisions I had to make was deciding to come to the UK in order to pursue my career, and will now not be able to watch Zim play in the world cup live. I moved over from Zim to Brisbane when I was 15. Was planning to watch them live in Zim in August, but plans changed and I was in Zim in May. Then would have had the opportunity to watch them back in Aus, and then things changed and now im in the one place that they would probably never be allowed the opportunity to fly over.
I wonder, with other Zim fans all over the world, surely there is the opportunity to get together, watch some cricket (esp during the world cup. Get together to watch the zim games), reminisce about the good old times etc etc.

No second thoughts....always Zim. Many times ppl call me traitor too. I prayed so many times to get Tendulkar out first ball. Sharjah series was memorable and gorgettable both after Olonga-Tendulkar duel.Kriterion_BD wrote:OK so next question...ZIM vs IND who do you support? Same for AUS and jaybro.CrimsonAvenger wrote:Kriterion_BD wrote:But you are Indian as in Indian Indian?Yeah, I'm as Indian as one can get. Fell in love with the Zim team in the late 90's.

Zim born & raised, although I don't live there anymore. Have spent 3 weeks in the country since 1988. Need to do something about that.Kriterion_BD wrote:Are there any Zimbabweans on this forum, lol? I'd hazard a guess that 80% of posts are by non Zim fans of the team!

Moved 10 years ago and have not been back since, great country with the nicest people in the whole world but I imagine my exile will be a permanent one, apart from the odd visit.

German, with no Zimbabwe connections at all. I seriously fell in love with the game around 98/99 ... and became hooked on Zim.Kriterion_BD wrote:FF is german german or a ZIM expat?
