And we are without our best player for some reason today, I assume injury. Brutal.

The spinners don't look up to it at all, must be some better guys not selected, at least we have two years to identify the final 15. Madaramete and Martell looked OK with the ball but the rest have been way short of the skills required, even though they are still very young.

Madarameta looks okay. Big lad for 16. Something to work with at least

These saffas are big lads, assume they are the same age. Our guys are very skinny in comparison, need to bulk up over the next couple of years. Think I read something about a few guys not being available for this series due to school commitments. Will be interesting to see how they would match up against the likes of Ireland, Bangladesh, New Zealand and the West Indies over the next few months.

Our talent level must be down at Uganda's level by now!
It’s not at Ugandas level. Uganda are ranked like 20th in world cricket at the moment. But it’s probably at Netherlands or Nepal level. Nepal actually are decent at age level for some reason.

But one major issue is, in a clutch situation or must win game in a Qualifier, you can almost bet the house that a Uganda, Scotland, or UAE will beat them and knock them out of the tournament, despite being significantly weaker sides.

Possibly the same reason Afghanistan are good at age group. They're still trying to claim Gurbaz is 22.
Probably the in form best 50 over batter in the world atm.

Exactly! Nepal well-known for it.

I would assume some of the kids are writing their o-levels soon so they couldn't play. South African kids are usually much bigger than our kids. It's even worse for the rugby kids. I have never been able to figure out why that is the case
