It can only be generational talent Wez after his blistering 20 @ 95.45 in the last game.

Marumani? Justin praised him heavily in Pak series. What ever Zim cricket always surprise you
Time to sit back and enjoy the show

Re: Corruption and mismanagement in the ZCB
Of course they're talking about Dion. You just have to hear the guy talk to know that they're quivering to give him captaincy in all formats. The clichés were rolling off- lessons learnt, taking the positives etc
Theoretically he needs to establish himself as a player first.
That means different things to different people.
Maybe he just needs 50 or 100 international caps? He'll be fast approaching 50 after Ireland. If we can get in some Mozambique games after cyclone Chido the lads can all get their averages back into the 30's for a little pick me up, which will also be useful.

The reality is that with Ervine and Williams being "phased" out and Raza also getting closer to the end someone needs to get groomed for captaincy. They could be hoping that giving Dion more responsibility will help his batting? Sometimes works. Worked for Graeme Smith.
Ideally we need someone with a decent international record. Blessing?
They could be grooming Chatara at Mountaineers?
All things are on the table.

Do you really mean Chatara or Chataira? They seem to like the latter a lot so it wont be surprising as well. Larry still has it in Test Cricket for me, lets just wait and see what happens. The captain defo is going to be Dion, he even captained one the the A teams recently if i am not mistaken right? That 2020 u19 bunch is proving to be a good one! I somehow do not remember Marumani during the WC back then. One name that stuck with me was Tugwete, unfortunately he plays pro Soccer in the states now. Was a great athlete and was also a handy batGoogly wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2024 5:18 pmThe reality is that with Ervine and Williams being "phased" out and Raza also getting closer to the end someone needs to get groomed for captaincy. Right on cue, Makoni has been extended another 4 years.

Less pay on time or more pay sometimes. Took them a while.
