The discord is a back up in the event that the forum crashes and everything is lost. it connects us if the website dies

Not many have signed up to it though, so if this was to go tits up, I doubt people would know about it. As opposed to making the link public, it was invite only, so unless people got a DM from BRMT, they wouldn't be able to join it.

I think it needs to be active for it to be viable.

I'm sure there is a way to back up all the information that is on here. I'm not much of a an IT person but I was just on a forum that got closed down and created by someone else. Everything was migrated across.

Yeah, I would hope some stuff could be saved and transferred in the event.

Understand it needs to be working but it feels like a bit of double up whilst this page is still functioning
