Dillon is every bit as good as his stats suggest. Scoring centuries at St Aidans since he was 9!! He’s at Peterhouse now. He had plenty of options. He’s a very good keeper as well. Lovely family. Very level headed.

In the same age group, we have sent Andy Tabvura to Churchill on scholarship. Another one to watch. Off spinner / batsman…..
Churchill have a new headteacher (and coach) and are doing a great job of reinvigorating a couple of the fields
This kids really does sound exciting, hope he gets all the support he needs through the age groups.

Good the here there is some life being pumped back into Churchill.
He'll be in the u19's next WC and in the national side the year after and generational gem talent articles will abound.
If he's that good he needs someone smart to push and coach him correctly. Left to the system he will crash and burn.

I wonder what all the guys who have been through the system with disastrous outcomes are doing in the back ground. Just after the Hami, Matsi, Taibu group we had the Elton, Chibhabha, Utseya etc group who were rashed into the game and never really actually lived up to the talents they had. All these guys are or were at ZC in some capacity surely the know better and can draft better programs for talented players coming through. At least we now have a better player pool who can hold fort whilst the next generation develops. To imagine the likes of Maru, Shumba, Wes are only 23-24 there abouts yet many hardly have any confidence in them despite the talent they actually have. Looking at someone like Maruma who has taken time to develop though now on the wrong side of 30 he can easily play the number 6/7 role for the team if he was given a chance. We have to learn really that Nyamhuri is certainly no Maphaka just needs the right career progression to horn his talent.

Junior run-machine Dillon Nyamhuri and fellow youngster Elroy Chigumbura are part of the Zimbabwe Under-19 15-man squad today for the match versus Ireland Under-19 at Takashinga. This gives them exposure with an eye on the 2028 U19 World Cup, according to ZC.

Wtf. He’s good, I think I mentioned him on the forum a year or two back. But he’s still only about 13 I think? Putting him in an u19 squad is insanity.

ZC never learn.

Mudenda was even better at that age btw, and should be in this u19 squad and captaining it, but instead is trying to get selected for South Africa because ZC have made no effort with him.

And Kwirirai starting with the generational gem talent
It's not funny actually, it's pitifully sad.

Big Nought is a good player. But he'll have to do 5 years in Southern Rocks before he gets a go.

Senzere has just played a great lofted check drive that guarantees him a franchise berth next year and probably the captaincy.

Lol I chucked at googly making a joke about this, a joke rooted in absurdism, but ZC have actually done it and have started the worship process.

Clowns.

I interpreted it as more they were there to just train or have a look rather then really in the squad.

Happy to be told wrong.
