31. This Mashonaland batsman could have easily made it to the national team if he was not playing at a time when Zimbabwe was boasting a very formidable batting order. Here, he is playing a practice match against the touring English team. Any guesses as to who he is?

OK, this is tough, so let me give a big hint...

He shares his name (both first name and surname) with a noted tax risk management expert, also born in Zimbabwe. I am not sure if they are related though...

For some time he was in my thoughts. Now i remember, he played a practice game against Eng(may be the pic is of the same one), where Olonga uprooted timbers of Atherton & which was splashed all over the world. Atherton continue to struggle against our Hero Henry in whole of the tour. But the historical importance of the tour was "We murder them" test & Brandes' hat-trick.

But i think more than Erasmus it was Wayne James who deserved but did not get enough chances. But then, you need to be superhuman to replace AF.

Okey, here's my question. Pretty easy. Who's this gentleman?

Yes, James deserved to have played more.

Coming to your question. This is an educated guess. So, let us see. Is this Iain Butchart, the man who, giving great support to David Houghton, took us so close to an amazing win against NZ in WC 1987?
