[Match Thread]: 2018 Tri-Series Match 5 | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh
Re: [Match Thread]: 2018 Tri-Series Match 5 | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh
Our batting has really let us down in this series. Only once did they come to the party. With the qualifiers coming up some major work needs to go into that department. Afghanistan must be licking their lips. Just Deer in head lights.

ZIM lost by 91 runs but had a slight advantage so as long as SL loses by about 70 runs or more (or the bowling equivalent), ZIM should make the final. 50-50 shot of that I reckon.

Just hope Bangladesh bat first and post round about 270 or so...and Sri Lanka get bowled out below 180...Definitely possible..

Wow that makes their job a lot easier.. huge advantage knowing that. If it was the other way round we would have known 147 would have been enough.

If we do qualify the only hope we have is to switch the batting order because truth be told the bench is weak.
Looking at their bowling line-up I would try catch them by surprise by setting up like this
PJ(will benefit from open spaces since he can't rotate)
Waller(just give him a license to go after shakib)
Raza(can play absolutely anywhere to be honest)
Hami(for Mustafizur in the middle)
BT(for Mustafizur as well)
Ervine(might play better against the left arm pace)
Mire(might find it easier to play Rubel for a few later)
Cremer(really holding his own this series)
Jarvis(can stick around a bit)
Chatara(tailender)
Blessing(tailender)
Might not work but it's better than not trying anything and just being sitting ducks in a final

Get zhuwayo and shumba in for waller and moor. Absolutely useless those two guys. Keep moor for tests
