Chigumbura would have to be the most useless captain in the game.

Asif Ali.............From Pakistan

It's Enough for Chigumbura to lead the team very bad captaining & he should relised that he is not the batsman even he is not the bating allrounder (like afridi realised & concentrate on his bowling & the result is in front of u) then how can he comes at no. five to bat. One more thing I want to share that they are saying too much about that match since last six months but the field work is nothing. In such a important match how you can drop Williams, the player who atleast gives confrim 30 runs & he should comes @ no. five. Their is no place for chigumbura in the team if he can't ball b/c he is bowling allrounder not a batting allrounder & in recent days you can't say him allrounder b/c he zero now without his bowling & his batting, every one knows that since last 16 matches (He gets the captainship) he hasn't played score any big inning.

Best of Luck Zimbabwe

Surely Williams wasn't dropped? I just assumed he was injured again.

This performance leaves a lot to be desired. We could have done better WAY better, Utseya and cremer to the rescue! Anyway I think the days of saying this match was a learning curve are over our cricket really needs to improve.

hey, ZIM have passed 150 which at 46-5 didn't look possible...utseya playing a gem of a knock here - he's really been batting well enough to be called an all rounder. coventry is worthless, and taibu just doesn't seem to score runs consistently enough.

if you guys get to 200, and if the wicket slow, you guys might have a shot at winning this. NZ failed to chase 174 against us in Mirpur just a few months back.

Nonetheless, this NZ team is quite weak, and win or lose, i don't think the pitch was scary enough to warrant being 46-5.

Zimbabwe's bowling is honest, the spinners are right up there with the best, mpofu keeps things tight, masakadza has some pace, kyle jarvis will hopefully build on his talent. But the batting is really poor. The return to Tests is going to be harsh, nothing less than harsh.

But stick with it. Keep expanding the player base, that is the only way forward. None of the current players might cut it, but wait for the next Flower brothers, they are waiting to be discovered.
