A good day for the Rhinos :D a not so good day for the Tuskers

I'm glad that we Rhinos have a new secret signing as well, Innocent Nyati, i have to admit i've not spotted him anywhere before, never mind though, he's obviously either a very good player or, "thanks in main to a well played Innocent Nyati", an exciting piece of music that lifted the Rhinos players spirits

Shame we don't have a scorecard for this match yet, you do have to be patient being a follower of Zim cricket .....

On paper Tuskers look like the best team compared to all franchises. But as they say looks can be deceiving. I guess the book makers are scretching thier heads on this one. Its like the top four in the english premiership. Who have has the consistancy will take the cup. It may be early days yet but it looks likes its anyone's game.

Tuskers will bounce back soon. They are indeed the strongest side on the paper I believe and I expect they will proove it in a rush. 8-)

Rhinos win by 135 runs:
Midwest Rhinos won by an impressive 135 runs and had set a target of 371,
Tuskers only managed to total 236 runs by end of day. Graeme Creamer of the
victorious Tuskers added to his wicket collection by pocketing three more
for 65 runs and makes his total runs to eight in the match also making him
the highest wicket taker so far. Creamer also features on the list of top
batsmen with his double fifty scores of 63 in the first innings and 54
unbeaten in the second he is joined in this regard by Friday Kasteni who
scored 67 in the first inning and 101 in the second. Midwest Rhinos
technical team will be pleased with the early league lead and hope to
maintain it by winning this Saturdays one day spar against Tuskers.

get in there Rhinos Cremer your the man :D :D :D

Take that Tuskers :D

But on a serious note, Cremer has performed consistantly with bat and ball on the domestic stage in the last 3 years, i think it is time he got a run of matches to show us what he can do, Kenya will be the perfect oppotunity for him.

Thanks again to maehara for getting us these updates :D

As some of us predicted, the Rhinos trample all before them

The reports themselves though, they really are worth a laugh and make me wonder who on earth is writing them, today we have "Graeme Creamer of the victorious Tuskers added to his wicket collection by pocketing three more for 65 runs and makes his total runs to eight in the match also making him the highest wicket taker so far", could this be the same Graeme Cremer of the victorious Rhinos ? if he has eight runs in the match does this mean he took 117 wickets ?

Must do better ZC, if you want the rest of the cricketing world to take Zim cricket seriously then, in this day and age, communication is one of the major weapons at your disposal, please get your act together and use it correctly.

Great to see that at least three of the Rhinos players, Sibanda, Cremer and Kasteni, have put in major performances and it will be interesting to see the scorecard when it becomes available, in the meantime Tuskers fans, bad luck against a better team on this occasion, better luck against the other three sides ;)

Yes, slow start by Tuskers, but hope they gather momentum soon and steamroll the opposition :). Successof Sibanda and Cremer for Rhinos and Hamilton Masakadza for Mountaineers augurs well the national team. Kasteni and Co. must put in these kind of performances regularly to get into contention.

Well done, Rhinos and especially Graeme Cremer ! Good to see Sibanda and Kasteni joining the party also.

Bad luck Tuskers ! Hopefully they will stand up and start their winning rows ;)

In this case, I just quote what ZC send me. With there still being no official scorecard available for the match, I'm finding I still can't put together a coherent match report - gods know the ZC reports aren't enough to piece one together from. Fingers crossed we'll get one over the weekend...
