# 346 would have to be Jackie Grant who played for the West Indies?

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
That is absolutely correct! Jackie Grant played five two-day FC matches for Rhodesia, all inside 13 days in Johannesburg. (In days of financial constrain, could a similar tournament -- not two-day matches though -- save domestic FC cricket?)Leg-Glance wrote:# 346 would have to be Jackie Grant who played for the West Indies?
An elegant leg-glance for one to get off the mark with your first post. Welcom on board!

Welcome on board, Leg-Glance
347. Here's something even I am not very sure of. But one of the two highlighted is a former Rhodesian first class player. Most likely it is the one on the left with the highlight. Who are we talking about?

OK, i think it is clear that it is the one on left. Here is a zoomed in picture. The first pic will serve as a clue as well, looking at the setting...

Thanks guys Well this latest one is rather hard, I don't think I know who that is, or at least don't remember. They appear to be wearing military uniforms, is that correct?

Yes, that is a clue. He was a Major in the Rhodesian Army too.Leg-Glance wrote:They appear to be wearing military uniforms, is that correct?

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
OK, another clue. This man in question hasn't played much, but he did turn out for Rhodesia on a few occasions. There is a well documented story of him and the old gentleman on the left corner in the first row of the first image, inflicting an unexpected defeat on an Indian Club side --> Sits well with the times. Thats what we want Zim to do to the visiting Indians now

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
Rather a stab in the dark: Could it be Brian Wishart, Craig's dad (any resemblance?)? ...
... or rather not, he only played a List A match for Rhodesia.
I have not a clue whatsoever (despite your clues, that is)!

I don't know what more clue I can add, apart from saying that his is a very uncommon surname. I would have not even tried possibly faced with this question, so it was nice exploring

Just as an aside, Hilton Toro, featured recently in Question 344 as an emerging coach, is interviewed by Enock Muchinjo: http://www.dailynews.co.zw/articles/201 ... ush-fields
