That endorsement doesn’t meant anything. Tulsi isn’t progressive by Bernie’s standards (apart from Warren no one is) which means the endorsement is one of convenience.

My support is fairly irrelevant since I vote in Australia but if there was a ballot with Obama and Trump on it in my electorate I would not be voting for Trump. In spite of him being willing to call out China, he is the opposite of what I believe good governance looks like.Googly wrote: ↑Sat Apr 18, 2020 8:23 pmJeez Jemisi you’re not an Obama supporter are you?Read Matt margolis’ book - The Worst President in History, the Legacy of Barack Obama
Brilliant orator, but what a divise, nasty piece of work.
I’m still convinced he’s Kenyan, shouldn’t have even been allowed to run for office, a drunk Jesse Jackson would have made a better first black President.
The guy I’d like to see run is Trey Gowdy, super smart and has that simmering contempt for the Democrats that warms the cockles of my heart. That beautiful southern drawl makes me want to whistle Dixie and run the Democrats out of town.![]()
Whilst I’d like to see Trump for another 4 years because it is worth seeing these liberal elite’s cozy little world imploding as he drains the swamp, but I don’t think I can listen to him speak for much longer. It wouldn’t surprise me if someone didn’t try and knock him off, this last term of his he’s going to go after a few of these muppets and it will be amusing to watch.
Re: Corona
Let me see, Tulsi supports ending the war on drugs, medicare for all, has spoken in favor of the green new deal, receives a 100% rating from LGBTQ equality groups, is a vegan, and a Hindu. Hardly the stuff of a closet Republican.

Obama was a slick talker but didn't do a lot and was talked into being a Warhawk. Look how many countries in the Middle East were devastated. Look at how Hillary (under his watch) creates Isis and the Gaddafi murder was just stupid.
They don't 'get' it. Obama has bad instinct and decision making.
Trump avoids war, avoids PC pandering, barely killed anyone overseas, isn't nation building. Has deflated ISIS, secures the border. Has gone against advice to go to war and has withdrawn more troops from the Middle East.
His economy skills are undoubtedly better than Obama's and that above all else is huge. Granted, Obama has to deal with the GFC shitshow, but let's see how Trump handles the Pandemic economy.
Nevertheless, he's the much better president. He's just a straight shooter.

For a man who has been bankrupt six times, that would be a pretty bold hat to wear
Now this link will probably try and back up a Trump viewpoint, but it certainly debunks your criticism of Obama.

Re: Corona
I said between Obama and Trump. Hilary vs Trump might have made me stay home Dogg.
Even granting all of your points, Trump is a habitual liar. I would not do any business with him, or at least not twice.
And his administration is a mess of incompetence. Even just judging by his own policy goals he is going about things in a terribly inefficient way. He had some decent people with him at the beginning but he has demonstrated he is impossible to work with for people with integrity.
Obama was flawed and we knew going in he wouldn't be able to deliver on his promises but Trump is someone who embodies many things I would not want in a leader.
I have zero confidence that Trump would do right by anyone unless he absolutely thought it was in his interest and that he would get credit for it.
Being oppositional means he will sometimes oppose things that are wrong. But it also means he governs in a way that is regularly unreasonable.
Do a thought experiment. If Trump was in Zim which side would he be on?
I suggest he would be a thief amongst thieves. No way would he be working for the good of the game. He doesn't work for others. I am generally conservative but it doesn't matter to me if my leader occasionally agrees with a policy preference of mine if at the same time I know he is a crook.

This is so cropped and taken out of context. There’s a lot of mistakes and poor management that have been excluded on the part of the WHO in this videozimbos_05 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 2:44 amWoops, dropped this

Definitely the WHO has to take some blame.sloandog wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 10:26 amThis is so cropped and taken out of context. There’s a lot of mistakes and poor management that have been excluded on the part of the WHO in this videozimbos_05 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 2:44 amWoops, dropped this

The point I was getting at is that Trump is not as blameless as being portrayed, and it also shows how he backed China and quickly changed his tune. So he's not the Saint Google is painting him as.

My bad. Probably not a closet Republican. She still just seems to much of a centrist, like Biden to me. Thats actually a problem of the electorate and a failure of our education system. The quality of education in the US is something like 30th (just a guess) when we are the richest and strongest nation on earth. No way we should be below 5th or 10th at worst case.
