I think with the qualifiers in november we do need Nick Welch back in zim. Ervine and gumbie are probably too wooden for the shortest shortest format of 20 20 and we only really have raza and burl as big hitters.

Mathew campbell was unlucky not to win game for his team. 10 off 3 and needed a 6 last ball could only hit a 4

They changed that to three Zimbos today apparently.
Hahah really ? Why ? Cause they thought they have too many foreigners signed up and not everyone getting chance to play :D :D
No idea mate, Ervine said something about it after the toss and the commentators mentioned it in passing. You’re probably on the money with your guess though.
This is actually true if we are honest. We have seen many games where a local player like Makoni or even Ervine himself don't bat but the team will be like 6 or 7 wickets down

Ervine playing himself as a specialist captain when he happens to be an absolutely awful captain is pretty funny

Got the coolest jersey though and somehow captained them into the top two.

I thought he was bringing himself in down the order because he knows this isn’t his format

How much money do these players stand to make from this tournament. The likes of maruma compared to say raza and also the 5 zimbabwe guys who are basically in squads due to doing well in development tournament?

All of these comings and going in squads, unknown players, etc just emphasizes that this isn't legitimate cricket. Nothing more than hit and giggle.
