good to see a liitle pick up in the run rate, but i think chinibha biggest problem is the ability to find the gaps. he has hit alot of bad balls to fielders.

Dear Chamu

I am advising you as a good friend to grab the opportunity you have been given to open. There will be no other chances in the future as guys like Ballance will now be opening the batting .
I know that you are a fearless batsmen , and you can overcome the fear of international cricket .Some of my friends have told me that you have a natural ability .I beg you to use that ability
We know we tried using Charles Coventry but without success .You have also had some chances in the past during the Curran era , and you have not taken them .We can not move you down the order
as Hamilton & BT are good at 3 n 4respectively .Taibu also looks good at 5 .
All I am asking you is to cement your opening position in the side and give us the fours and sixes that we have been starved of.

Yours in cricket

ZCF

It's great that we haven't lost any wickets yet. The longer this partnership lasts the greater the chance of winning is.
Required RR 6.12
But that can't rise much higher...

The run rate needs to rise. Chibhabha needs to rotate the strike more as well, Sibanda on the hand is able to find singles easily and is looking really good.

Watching Chibhabha struggle against Hafeez is so frustrating. But a bit more of an intent in the last couple of overs. Got to attack the leggie now, I suppose.

It's very frustrating.
Required RR 6.52
I can't help but feel Zimbabwe is batting themselves out of this match. Chibhabha is four runs away from his half-century, perhaps when he brings that up he will try taking on the bowlers. A bit of intent sure is needed.

With Chamu unable to rotate the strike, Vusi probably felt under pressure to get a move on.

Taylor at 3 shows good flexibility. Chigs to be promoted next?

I reckon Waller might be a better option up next. He can hit them and it would be a good chance for him to get a decent innings. And it leaves Chigumbura for the final showdown, if it gets to that stage.
