Plot twist, Mike should have played a lot more games for Zimbabwe than he did when he was younger.


I've been watching Bonzo for the best part of a decade. Imo he is a slightly better bowler than Wellington and a significantly better and more reliable bowler than Williams. By some distance tbh. We won't agree so

I've just looked at slo mo of his leggie and googly. It's standard- u can see the back of his hand for the google and his thumb for the leggie. It must be that his hand action is so fast they're not seeing it. Cremer was a bit like that, he used to flick his hand and his googly was hard to pick and yet he hardly ever used it.

As a right hander if you're not picking it you should play it as a googly I guess. And as a leftie play it as a leggie ie play it as if its coming into you.
