I can answer that- he was away in England and only turned out a handful of times. SOGO did their best to be loyal to the guys that did well for them in the absence of the Big Guns, so Schadendorf and Basson mostly remained where they were, but Basson eventually had to sit out.

You've got to pick 9 batters from 13 excellent players. You can't leave out Schadendorf from T20, he's a better striker than most of them. Same story in reverse- he can't make a franchise side but can displace a white international batsman from his club side. Tough to put a racial slant on that. No embarrassment at killing a potential career either. Zero. JT had huge potential as a T20 player. We're dealing with nasty people.
