Shanto...two golden ducks both after the opposition rack up 360+ scores. That is simply not good enough.

This is the first time I actually feel the proteas have a chance. The "choke" has already happened too in a way. My prediction is SA and India will meet twice and both win 1 match.

Rugby has announced today the introduction of a new 2-division international league (24 teams). Also a further expansion of the World Cup to 24 teams.

The contrast with cricket is remarkable really.

India's bowlers are almost unhittable. You can't line Bumrah, Siraj or Shamsi up at the end of the innings at all as they vary their length line and pace so much. Then there's Kuldeep and Jadeja who are gun ODI spinners. I don't see how they're getting beaten

By far the best bowling attack in ODIs right now. I knew they were good, but it shocked me how good they were. Bangladesh we’re on track to post well above 300, possibly 350 even but India just shut us down from the 15th over onwards (100-1 after 15 overs to 256-8 in 50). Same thing happened to Pakistan and less dramatic for Afghanistan as well.

Seamers and spinners…they are at you for 50 overs and theirs are no “relief bowlers” who you can target.

I wouldn't give the IRB too much credit, they have ring fenced the top division until 2026 at least. Expanding the RWC to 24 teams does give Zimbabwe something to aim for as Africa might now get an extra spot.

India's bowling attack is particularly good in home conditions. That's going to be the key... If any team can break this bowling attack then only India can be put under pressure.

Netherlands being shown how to play here by the aussies. I feel bad for the Dutch because they actually have a good side, probably their best on paper ever. They've fielded unbelievable this tournament and they've shown a heck of a lot of heart. But this aussie side is unreal. Engelbrecht looks like a gun but I doubt he'll play after this though as he's got a thriving business back home I hear.
They just need more exposure and its as simple as that. The more they play the better they'll get. It's becoming a highly exclusive club now and as a result the cricket is becoming boring.

I think ZC and the Dutch boards needs to put their heads together and get playing more. The gap between these associates and say is and Sri Lanka isn't that big. I still think we're significantly better than Ireland

Thing is they WERE put under pressure by both Pakistan and Bangladesh top orders. However Indian bowlers can put pressure on you for 50 overs. As Sloandog mentioned, there is no relief bowler you can target. Bumrah, Shami, Siraj, Jadeja, Kuldeep, Ashwin. Even their 6th 7th bowlers like Pandya and Shardul are very handy if not necessarily world class. And then the batting is probably second best after the Saffer lineup.
