Re: Domestic t20 Tournament Thread
Looks like it is his hard work and work ethics in general and a tough attitude that endears him to the coaches. His numbers in tests have been good since debut too, but woeful in shorter formats. Looks like a Malcolm Walleresque person - he also probably was close to selection due to his work ethics despite massive shortcomings in his technique. Moor additionally appears to have good leadership qualities as well the way he conducts himself overall.

Slug hitting form at the right time.. definitely in the selection mix of things.. always beleived he has been the rock of zim after BTs departure and hopefully he will replicate that in the national team colours

A spell in domestic cricket was just what the doctor ordered--but what ZC unfortunately did not provide last year when it was badly needed in the months leading up to the WC quals.
I'm not sure I'd call him the rock of our batting because the difference between Craig in form and Craig out of form is bigger than for anyone else. When he's on song, he can make batting look very easy and is only second to BT in full flow; when he's in a slump you wonder whether he will ever get another decent score.

I'm still shocked that A Moor has never been mentioned on this platform till nowCrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 9:26 amLooks like it is his hard work and work ethics in general and a tough attitude that endears him to the coaches. AJ has played about two games of club cricket in the last 4 years. Quite strange a decision when he leap frogs all the rest. Glad to see Brian get a game, he’s a bit of a twit, but he’s done well at club level recently so good on him. He’s not 19, either, shows ZC can’t even get his year of birth right. He’s 22 or 23.
Mavuta continues to show how actually average he is...Nice to see Ervine hitting it sweet.
Zhawi must have written a bad story about ZC or something because him and Diplock are far better than any other pace bowler around this tournament, barring Jarv and Chats obviously. Stats back that up, too. I’d love to know the real issues there.

Just that Anthony is the younger brother of PJ Moor; I don't know his history really.
Mashinge was out for a while due to illness, but both he and Williams played today.
I have been looking for Tari to see why he has changed provinces, but haven't found him yet. In the middle of a season, it's probably by mutual agreement between the provinces.
