Lovely cricket, Zim have exceeded all expectations so far - not least of all South Africa's! 169 is a seriously competitive total, no matter what happens from this point the team has gained quite a bit of respect I imagine.

Hopefully Rainsford and Mpofu can take some early wickets up front! If SA were 3/40 by the end of the powerplay that would put Zim in a great position.

For anyone interested, the game is on South African radio at http://encryptant.antfarm.co.za/fifa/re ... 00_int.asx

Well done to all the batters! :6: Except Taylor who had a bit of an off day :?

Big pressure on Mpofu and Rainsford, who's just gone 13 in his 1st over. He's a handsome guy though, I'm man enough to admit that :D

I think we are missing Ray price in the bowling attack.

I think its not a bad performance, though it could have been better. The batting was definitely better. But it was Loots and Smith who took the game away from us.

All credit where its due (Masakadza [who I critisised during the Ireland series], Chibhabha, Coventry, Dabengwa and everyone esles). I don't know what it is like on ground 0 for the bowlers but certainly a fine innings. 168 is a very competitive score and it hurts to see it decimated in the manner which the Proteas did. A loss it is but I am sure we all can agree that Zimbabwe Cricket is moving in a positive direction.

Rainsford was a bit of disapointment. Not once did he bowl over 80mph, and he bowled very short early on.
For Sundays game i'd like to see the inclusion of Ian Nicholson.
Well done though boys. I've been whatching it all night on sky, interesting to see how much Justice Chibahba has come on :D
