yeah i agree taibu needs to score big time. they need to get to 100 without a wicket falling.

Not looking too good is it. Taibu and Masakadza are our experienced hands. If we ever needed a 100 run partnership, it's now.8.2 Rampaul to Chibhabha, OUT, fuller in length and swinging away, Chibabha puts a half foot unhesitatingly forward and gets an outside edge. Lewis at second slip dives to his right and takes the catch
CJ Chibhabha c Lewis b Rampaul 6 (16b 0x4 0x6) SR: 37.50

most wickets are coming from techinical errors, not just rash shots.
This is a good thing as the coach can fix it, if a player just throws away his wicket like it seemed sibanda did then no help is realy available.

Taibu and Masakadza are our two most technically correct players. Let's hope they put on a decent partnership right now, but really we need to up the run-rate a bit. Zimbabwe have no hope of winning unless they score 240+.zimdan wrote:most wickets are coming from techinical errors, not just rash shots.

No gayle will make a huge different to west indies, you saw what happened to them when they lost him early in the first game.

True. Parchment is making a debut, so hopefully Brent and Chigumbura can get him early while he's nervous.zimdan wrote:No gayle will make a huge different to west indies, you saw what happened to them when they lost him early in the first game.
Good shot.12.1 Bravo to Taibu, FOUR, on the good length and keeping the line outside off, Taibu drives through cover for a boundary
Bravo to bowl

It's going to be tricky maintaining a balance between a decent run rate and keeping wickets in hand. At the moment they are doing neither.
Masakadza out for 6 from 25. Taibu's doing alright, 28 from 41 but needs to start scoring more quickly.

This is turning into a collapse, so sad to see because they are so much better than they are showing.

This is becoming embarrassing. It would be 7/72 if it wasn't for all of the wides.zimdan wrote:This is turning into a collapse, so sad to see because they are so much better than they are showing.
So, is it still raining in Bulawayo? Let's hope the wind heads east...
