He made a few appearances a couple of years ago then he disappeared because of injury.
Anyone has news if he is fully fit now?

Canada tour of Zimbabwe

Re: Canada tour of Zimbabwe
These Zim A games are affiliated to ZC by virtue of being the national side A team. BT is banned until July unless it has been reduced on the quiet. That’s why I jokingly said in another thread that they should have called this team Union Hardware Select XI

As it stands, old knackers is more eligible to play.

If only this could happen but quota will simply not allow itGoogly wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 11:00 amHere's our best all format team
Bennett, Welch, Ballance, Taylor, Williams, Raza, Higgins, Welch (Jr) Evans, Mazarabani, Ngarava.
Bench- Ervine/knackers/MW
MW makes it ahead of Maru, Overlord, Mayavo, Madande as keeper. Untested but he's got the highest ceiling of those 3 as a batsman first but can keep. If Taylor could still keep then MW sits out for Ervine or Knackers.
The others pick themselves all day. This team wins some games!!! Not impossible to put together.

Thanks for sharing. Can anyone shed light on what Evans was referring to when discussing setbacks and the interviewer, perhaps wisely, didn’t push him on it? I'm sure his ongoing injuries?
He had a stress fracture in his leg, it was a really bad one, eventually came back from that and then tore a pectoral muscle.
I'm pretty sure he's lost his contract by now, so he's got a long road ahead of him.

Re: Canada tour of Zimbabwe
He went into quite a bit of detail on his injuries. It seemed he was implying something a bit more nefarious, was curious if he has had any run-ins with the usual suspects at the top. Maybe I’m reading too much into his comments

Domestic bully like Marumani
it’s still inexplicable how he couldn’t get a game in Australia or Pakistan
