Ravi Shastri...this motherfucker lol...already assuming India are in the Final. He's not wrong per se...but he sounds like he supports a team that has won every trophy in the last 10 years...instead of a team that HASN'T won a single trophy since 2013.

I see the Pakistanis are accusing the Indians of getting a different batch of balls when they bowl. They reckon that swing they're getting is not in keeping with the swing those bowlers usually get.
One day it will come out how Wasim and Waqar used to deliver those unplayable late in-duckers as well.

I see Afghanistan are playing 4 spinners. Never seen that before. Noor Ahmed amongst the wickets. He's actually a bit erratic but nobody has any idea which way that ball is turning, even if you watch his wrist in slo mo it's confusing.

What an amazing tournament Afghanistan are having. We can forget about them playing Zimbabwe anytime soon, they will now behave as if they are even bigger super stars.

But credit where it's due. Unbelievably good tournament for the Afghans, who are still in the race for Semi Finals. Something for Zimbabwe and Ireland to learn from, these guys have come through against the odds with relatively less fixtures, not so much money, war torn nation, Taliban taking over... I don't think Zim or Ire can have any excuses.

They get full member funding despite not meeting the criteria to be full members. It’s not against the odds at all. Approximately 15x larger annual funding grant than the Netherlands. And I wouldn’t say they are 15x better than the Dutch.

And they don’t have to spend a large % of their income on women’s and girls cricket like Zim and Ire are forced to.

Pretty sure the majority of their team or certainly the higher profile stars haven’t set foot in the country since the Taliban takeover either. So not sure that’s as much of a hardship for them as you think.
