Just sensible batting. We'll get through.

Could have kept them at 200
Come on mate. They have a long batting line up and they were like 100/1 ... So it's ok... May be 220 would have been realistic to limit them to but this hasn't got out of hand.
I know, just shitting myself.

Tempted to open with Gumbie and Kaia and give them a simple mission. 0/60 after 15 overs.

Had you told us 3 weeks ago that we needed to chase 234 against Scotland to qualify for the World Cup we all would have taken it. No need to look at the past or certain mistakes. This is the moment to correct 2018. That's what we need to focus on. They need to bowl us out
Whilst you make a valid point and I would tend to agree, you have to take into account pitch conditions and the like. A hypothetical like that doesn't take things like that into account. This is a different pitch to Harare and Scotland have been playing very well this tourney too.

I think it's valid for all of us to shit ourselves. We were here in 2018 and there are so many similarities. It's again in our hands, so like last time, if we mess up, we only have ourselves to blame and those kind of losses are much harder to take than when you can't control it.

It would be a massive relief if Williams walks out there in God mode again and slugs the bowlers at an SR of 150. If he does that for an hour, we win.

Regardless of what happens today, Zim need to find a better player than Chatara in the bowling lineup. You going to WC and you cannot bank on him to do the dirty work I’d rather have Evans back in for the WC

This is probably not that kind of a pitch and Scotland will dish out 30 overs of quality spin. If I were them, I'd open with their offie opposite Sole if Ervine is opening.

You also have to factor that Scotland's bowling attack is probably not far behind's Sri Lanka's, and this is most bowling friendly pitch of the tournament, by the looks of how SCO could never accelerate in their innings.

More likely, the legend plays a shot reminiscent of that classic heave against the WI in a Test circa 2013. Backing away to the umpire at square leg. :(

McMullet's bowling is what scares me.
This will test their bottle.
I have ambulance on speed dial, may not survive this.
