This is going to be ugly. Imagine Hardus Viljoen steaming in at Maruma or Musakanda. Embarassing months ahead. We are playing NZ in a month for goodness sake and theyre sending our B team ! Chikuni plays 2nd League Cricket half the time !

So what 4 day practise are the likes of Masakdaza, Ervine, Cremer and Sibanda going to have before the New Zealand test series?

None.......................................................... :o

So Kenyon Ziehls idea of bringing in a lot of the under 19s seem to have fallen on deaf ears. Where are the likes of Malcolm lake and James Bruce/matigimu? I do like the idea of getting aleseni involved and the new action of Vitori. Hopefully they go well

Flakey have faith in Dutch Chikuni. He does have the skills and pace to play at higher levels. And besides he is a real gem that you have at OH he was gunned at around 145 in 2011 before a back injury in 2013 saw him go into obscurity. It must also be noted he was part of the legendary Harare Sports Club side that dominated the 2011/12 club season. He has all the tools good height at least 1.9 , broad shoulders and a fit as my grannys 15 year old donkey and hits the deck hard with an evil short ball that i tasted this past weekend. He has been grossly underutilized and underestimated by OH who if they put him alongside Dipaz and Munyoro gosh goosebumps at that trio. He is one guy who has options and thus has not been active around the FC system as he is a trained and certified Apple Iphone technician and runs his own business. Dont underestimate that boy he is a true cricketer who can also handel the Bat . He most likely wont play as he has no list A or FC games but a real wild card a good addition and much needed competition .

I am suprised there is anyone in the country who can bowl at 140 plus hope fully its not one if those ghings were Hondo gets hold of him and turns him into a 125ks max bowler

Is Ryan Burl injured?
Peter Moor isn't there.
Wellington and Madziva have never played a Test match, so maybe they should have been there too.
Would have liked to see some U-19 players like Mavuta in that squad.
What's the point of picking Mawoyo?? He's been in abysmal form. Same with Natsai M'shangwe.
Mumba should have been given an opportunity. 49 wickets in 14 matches at an average of 16 is no joke.
Where's Tapiwa Mufudza?
I like the idea of getting genuinely quick bowlers like Aliseni and Chikuni involved though.

I like Chikuni as a person but he has the accuracy of a 15 year old.

He bowls as quick as Munyoro and Diplock when they bend their backs to get it slightly over 130 but its not nearly enough when playing against SA. They have Hardus Viljoen, the mountain of a man bowling 150+ regularly.

Anyway, they have done nobody favours here as I spoke to one of those guys in the above mentioned squad and as I had said, two days ago he knew nothing about ZCs plans for this tour !

All this while Ervine, Williams, Hami, Vusi, Wellington could have greatly benefitted.

I predict an innings defeat.
