This just aint cricket. I love Zim cricket but Bangladesh are better than Us, cos they CONSISTENTLY perform at whatever standard they are at. If we could perform consistently then we would also be competitive. Evryt team Knows Zim will play one good game and then the rest they will just surrender. We need psychological help.

On the bright side, we won one match - so we're better than New Zealand. :D

A lot more questions than answers at the end of the series. We haven't found the new ball pair, batting crumbled, bowling looked good in patches. Serious trouble ahead of the world cup. Probably only Utseya and Price can claim a place in the 15 man squad without a debate.

Mpofu, Regis and Ervine as well. 3 positives from this series

Mpofu did play well. Compared to the SA series without genuine pace our "pace" bowlers were always going to struggle in SA. World Cup! I think we need to squeeze in some matches with sopmeone probably New Zealand. NZ should actually BEG us to play them cos we are better than them. They were beaten 5-0 by Bang we lost 3-1 They were beaten 5-0 by a SECOND string India, we beat them. So NZ NEED to play us before the World cup in 10 match series to gain some respectability...and win 10-0...

I wouldn't be so sure that we are better than New Zealand just yet. I think it would be an interesting series with NZ clear favourites if the series was in NZ and the teams probably even if the series was in Zimbabwe. New Zealand have always tended to play well against Zimbabwe and other minnow countries. The recent series against Bangladesh was very unusual and hopefully an abberation. Although that being said, New Zealand is probably fielding its worst ODI side since about 1994.

Poor :(
I'm sick of logging on and seeing keith Dabengwa in the team. He's shit ! Pardon my french but it's so annoying !
And i'd like to aim this at Anusha Gamage. If you aren't here to support Zimbabwean Cricket, only to ridicule and kick us down, then just don't bother posting. I'm not the administrator, and i know i have to be careful in what i say, but some of the things you are saying are highly frustrating and insulting. Put up or shut up !

First of all well said Ryan about Anusha. I don't mind our own criticising us but someone coming here to act as a wind up merchant is blatant trolling IMHO.

I also think you hit the nail on the head there with Dabengwa. I tried to big him up after one adequate performance but he is just not up to it. 9 runs in 46 minutes is just pathetic. Sorry Keith, you are just not up to the standard required.

After our discussions about Craig Ervine earlier I must say it is great to see him cementing a place in the team and starting to look the part as an international player.

I think it is not all bad news with this series. It reflects how we have come on as a side and how Bangladesh have come on as a side as well. I think 3-1 is a reasonable result. Bangladesh now remind me of Sri Lanka in the late eighties/early nineties. They are getting their act together and have some useful players. They are no longer the joke side of old.
A talented batsman but a modest, hardworking character, Stuart Matsikenyeri is the third of three school friends from Churchill Boys High School, Harare to represent Zimbabwe in international cricket. - Cricinfo.

Yeah exactly mate i agree.
The fact that he never even scored a boundary is pathetic, and highly embaressing. I'm not just saying this but i honestly think Stuart Matskinyeri could do a better job. He's got a better technique with the bat and his offspin in handy...
