I'd be surprised if they don't rest Nyamhuri. To go from no red ball to that many overs, a 2 day rest and repeat, that will put him at risk.
It will depend how Blessing feels physically. Ideally we'd want him and Ngarava, but they may swap them out. We want to win this next test. They're our two best seamers.

Same applies to Gwandu.

One way or another we're likely to see Victor.

I'd be disappointed if they dropped Overlord and opened with Kaitano and put in Mayavo. Its possible they'll do that. He's not done badly. He's going to have to have a better plan against the spin because he will get it early if he plays and opens. They saw he had no idea which way it was going. We have the added dimension of Rashid (not sure who he will replace?) There's an option to bat Overlord down the order. That was a big ask today, but they were exceptional circumstances. He's better against the pace though, needs to open.

Raza is likely to select himself, but he shouldn't be near this side on principle. He needs to find some form in domestic, same rules should apply.
Campbell is the right thing to do, but they've never been guilty of that.
Mavuta didn't do particularly well and again Campbell is the right option. He's a better bowler than people realize.

Kaitano did enuf in the first innings.
I'd think they'll play Myers, they're determined he's the next Brian Lara. He got a damned good ball today, that would have undone a lot of players. The only pressure he's got is personal pressure, he can go 200 games without a 50 and they'll keep picking him. Nice position to be in, only in Zim.
I'm being facetious, nothing against him, it's the system that's broken.

ZC are going to pretend these 2 series didn't happen on account of their spinners. They might write to ICC and get them to erase the stats.
These guys will start against Ireland with a clean sheet.

Stoked that Ngarava will play, torn for Raza's selection. He'll add a lot to the team with both bat and ball, but he's stained my opinion of him after the recent fiasco with Akram. This picking and choosing of what format to play doesn't wash, especially when Johnathan Campbell is in the squad. He's been grinding it out in FC cricket now for at least 4 or 5 seasons and has gradually got better and better. Raza hasn't played any red ball cricket.
Also, I don't see him batting at number 8, so who's he going to replace? Myers is the obvious candidate but again, what's that doing for his confidence going forward?

For me , raza needs to stay retired and focus on LO cricket. He's not scored any meaningful runs against bigger opposition for some time, either.

Curran
Kaitano
Myers
Williams
Ervine
Bennett
Gumbie (Wkt)
Campbell
Muzarabani
Ngarava
Nyauchi

Won't happen but I like the makeup. Kaitano has a good technique and a good temperament to partner Curran. I really like Gumbie and rate his wicket keeping, so I wouldn't be against giving him a bit of breathing space lower down. Again, not going to happen, but it could be a good option to sustain his opportunities in the side. Opening and wicket keeping is the hardest job in the game.

I would play Raza, we don't play many tests and we want to win. Rashid Khan is back for Afghanistan and Raza can be a big part of negating his threat. He is a better bowler than Mavuta who had a really poor test.

I thought we were assured Welch was playing
So if Ngarava, Raza and Campbell are in who goes out..
Mavuta and Myers should take a break..

Fucking ridiculous. Honestly, the kid must be tearing his hair out. Raza better bat up the order if he's going to displace somebody.

Sorry guys, out of the loop but what happened with Raza & Akram?

From what I gather from the forums, Raza has been using his position as captain or whatever to put Akram into the team ahead of more deserving players.
