His family is rich but this has to pass through the parliament and be ratified into the constitution. But fair to say we have a criminal at the top who will use it to woo 'investors' and enrich himself. May have been saying this a some sort of lipstick to the outside world in order to be seen as 'progressive'.
He's not waiting 10 years, that i promise you. We'll see him in the national side within 12 months. He would never hang around unless it's imminent.
Even Trump has got that Gold Card thing started, a mere $5m
There are a few things at play here. A Parliamentarian vs The President's Son in-law. Whoever has political capital will win this fight. It's a very interesting fight. You know the top guy loves money so anything can happen!
I see a lot of people hate ZANU PF for bad governance, corruption and violation of the law. Then same people who will be making noise accusing and calling ZANU PF all sorts of names are at the forefront advocating for the same corrupt practices they 'hate'. People actually making noise for the constitution to be violated just for one person.
Black people we are hopeless and at some point i sometimes think some people deserves all the bullshit they endure in Zimbabwe until you're principled. I cannot believe people want the laws to be violated for an outsider and its not a given that he will perform at the grand stage. I would rather take risk with one of our own than that nonsense.
Have we run out of players? We have bonafide citizens waiting for a chance to represent the country but we making noise for someone who has hardly spent a year in the country. He will be taking a place of a Welch or a Maphosa etc. What message does it send to the bonafide Zimbabweans? That they are useless?
They will do anything to get Antum Naqvi in the team. With him in the team, they will get some relief. No one will question their inability to bring their players forward, at least for a while. By that they will continue to gain and take their own things.
ZC always have a way of making things end up in a total disaster. I dont know if this Antum story is going to be any different. Ballance came in and that blow over quickly. Jarvis came back less than half the player he was before. It's a total fuss for them to be talking about transition and boom you got all your cards staked up on a foreigner whilst blocking pathways for genuine Zimbabwean talent.
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'
