Would have taken 217 to win but we gifted them the last 20 or so runs.
Must build partnerships!

Surprising that the stadium is not full. We need some moisture to magically evaporate out of that pitch, this is going to be tricky.

Would have definitely taken 217 at the beginning of the game. I would have actually bowled blessing to those tailenders. No way they would have negotiated his bounce to the boundary. He has a lot of potential and he can bowl a good 10kph faster when he figures out that no ball.
Credit where it's due for Jarvis with 3 wickets. He even bowled a delivery at 137ph apparently. He did well today
That catch by Craig was world class! Congrats to Cremer too!
As for the chase I think if there is a game where Craig can get back into form it would be this one. He has enough time and it's more spin friendly. He should get stuck in. These are his types of games. The most critical player for me will still be Mire, if he knocks off 50 or 60 odd runs at a lightning rate the chase will be much easier for everybody else and we will win.
I'm thinking if Bangladesh start with 2 spinners would you guys not be tempted to switch the order. I would send PJ and BT to open and catch these guys by surprise

Stats: Smallest totals defended by BD so far
174 vs New Zealand (Mirpur)
185 vs Scotland (Edinburgh)
205 vs Ireland (Mirpur)
220 vs Zimbabwe (Bogra)
2 of the 3 lowest have been at this ground! Going to be a nailbiter I predict.

I don't think there is any need for us to come out guns blazing here, the asking rate isn't too much. If we can pace our innings well enough bat out the 50 overs we can get there.

But a classic 50-from-30 from Mire would certainly ease the pressure.
Re: [Match Thread]: 2018 Tri-Series Match 5 | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh
Mire is better off playing like that, it is how he is most effective. It's probably more up to Hami and BT to look to bat responsibly and anchor the chase.
