Winning a game should only be the beginning of something else. Now for the series!

That's entirely predictable - heaven forbid Zimbabwe should ever win anything through their own good efforts.Maraicha wrote:I see Cricinfo is talking about a lacklustre performance from the Windies on their commentary. No mention of how graet Zim played today. They're predictable I guess.LOL

Indeed. No time for complacency. WI will be firing in the 2nd ODI, Zim must be able to match them. This will be a great series...zimdan wrote:Awesome stuff from us, im proud of that victory. i just hope we can keep it up for game 2.

Anyone know who won MOTM? I assume Chanderpaul but Chigumbura could be an outside chance.

Although they seem to have forgotten a certain Twenty20 match...

I see Cricinfo finally acknowledged Zim's performance. We await the second match which I am sure we will also win. Ray Mali was right after all!!!!!!People thought he was crazy.
This team has the potential to go far, even in tests! I am sure you all agree with me. See you tommorrow guys> I am so happy.

If they hadn't put down some easy catches it would have turned from a comprehensive win to a thrashing. Should turn out to be a great series.

Re: Match Thread - 1st ODI - Zimbabwe vs West Indies
i hope it turn out to be they needed to batt with more attention too need to dont give awya easy wickets as did by taylor today so alos need to convert 70s into hundreds dont give it away.i think WI will may come hard on them.so hoping for great series fo zim.
