Sorry for the delay in posting this topic. It was a tournament to forget, but nonetheless we must pick the three most outstanding players (perhaps we can say the three players that didn't perform the worst )
Unfortunately, Sean Williams didn't play any matches in this tournament, which makes the decision making process even harder.
I think the easiest way of realizing that this was an awful series for the Zimbabweans is that unlike earlier polls, where we had stiff competition among 4 or 5 people to make it to top 3, this time we are trying desperately to fit people into those 3 positions when none of them have been consistent. Hope the next series would be better (whenever that happens).
Despite not playing any games, and thus not polling any votes, Sean Williams is still performing well on the leaderboard. Brendan Taylor was the biggest winner of the Pro20 series, with an 8% swing from the MTN series.
It's a poor reflection of the teams consistency when we see that not a single player has managed to get at least one vote in all three series (Pak, MTN, Pro20) so far this year. If it weren't for injury, I'm quite sure Sean Williams would have done well in the Pro20 though...
