Midwest Rhinos v Southern Rocks
11-14 December 2010, Kwekwe Sports Club

Last round of Logan Cup matches before the New Year. Rocks are winless in the Logan Cup so far this season, can they win one on the road?

Problems of ZIM Cricket (National team as well as first class teams) - Conversions and Collapses

300 odd for 2 with two batsman on centuries, then a quick collapse...The collapses are just too frequent..Not everyone in the team performs..
Look at the current indian side and the australian side in the past..Everybody performed in a match as a result they won. No match can be won
when there are few people performing and many people failing. This has been the problem of Zim cricket for the past few years and needs to be
rectified from the grassroot level. They did well in the triangular series as they had many batsmen scoring runs, good starts and bowlers performed
as well...

Another problem is conversion : Batsmen throw wickets away really cheaply. They don't convert 50 into 100 and 100 into double hundreds..Waller and
Sibanda got out after playing really well. They should try to score big centuries since zim is returning to test cricket. In India's ranji trophy after almost
every round of games,we see at least one double century..Not in case of Zim..

They need a sports psychologist and maybe a coaching seminar for all the players in the domestic cricket by a good coach and some sports analyst
would be really helpful..
