With Brendan Taylor's departure, will you continue to follow Zimbabwean cricket with the same fervour most of us on this forum do? Or is this the sign that it is game over?
Personally, I will be sticking around. I have supported Zimbabwe through it all, not sure why I would stop now.

I'm offended you asked the question Eugeneeugene wrote:With Brendan Taylor's departure, will you continue to follow Zimbabwean cricket with the same fervour most of us on this forum do? Or is this the sign that it is game over?

Many of us were around for the quad series in Canada, that we the lowest of the low for me, we have a very healthy side these days in comparisons.
And remember as much as we all love Taylor and I promise you I do do, he averages 34 with the bat, a very good player but not irreplaceable in the long term.
His departure will just open the door for a potential new Zimbabwe hero.

hmm...I agree we have stuck to Zim in times worse than this...
But this is indeed a sad time...i think it will b hard to find someone like Taylor

Zimbabwe Cricket once lost a whole team. We talking about one player. Sometimes life just has to go on. You cant blame Taylor he has stuck it out for a long time and no one can question his patriotism. But forward we must.

I'll always follow Zimbabwe cricket but my expectations for success will drop dramatically. More so if Williams follows Taylor out of the side

I'm devasted atm about BRMT leaving and also the likely hood Willy and Ervine will follow but I will always support the boys ......

Im going to be the different one.
IF the rest of my favourites go... i want to see them burn...
ZC has done this. If they allgo, they have shot themselves.
12 years of neptism, incompetence, racism, theft will finally come to a head.
Only the lapdogs like Prosper will remain.
And i will sit here and laugh, a very sad laugh, but a laugh noless.
I'll still be at this forum though. This is home to me.
