Does anybody notice this as well ?? I remember watching this boy bowl in 2006 against Zimbabwe and he was absolutely rapid ! He was consistantly bowling in the high 80's and i remember he touched 90 clicks on one occasion. Where's his pace gone ??
He's bowling between 77 and 80 mph, opposed to a couple of years ago
Strange indeed

Shahadat's original action was altered by Bangladesh's former bowling coach Champaka Ramanayeke. That may be why his pace is lower than his rookie years. Nowadays, he bowls with a bit more accuracy but less pace and barely any movement. Shahadat recently stated that he may go back to his old style of bowling during the series against England, due to the slump in form he hit.

Ya i agree 100%
He lacks the fittness to be a world class test match fast bowler like James Anderson or Mohammed Asif

That can be said about pretty much all of the current bangladeshi pacers (except Mohammed Rubel, that guy's built). Shahadat is the mohammed ashraful of bowling for bangladesh, he is very inconsistent.

Agreed, though young Shafiul Islam looks a very good fast bowling prospect.

I remember Shahadat Hossain took a hat-trick against Zimbabwe in 2006 :(
There's a good ending to the story though, Brendan Taylor hit that historic 6 off the final ball to give Zimbabwe the win.
