This is the crux. Shapiro has the same view as you and therefore he must be right No other view could be, only those that agree with your view. Probably why you ignore a lot of my points. Shapiro is a smart man, but he is not a right man. He babbles incoherently and makes statements rather than points. He is not a reliable source. In saying that, you probably listen to Alan Jones and have Fox News playing in your home constantly so it really is irrelevant trying to reason.

Lockdowns are being imposed in many countries. In Aus people are being fined and the security and defend forces are actively patrolling to ensure of a proper lockdown. Also, the general population have been listening to health care professionals and not some hack with a facebook channel, so people are sticking to the lockdown more than most.

Also, we've had a conservative govt for years. Not served us well in any way. It is time for a shift in the other direction. Maybe then we will have real leadership.

Zimbo I actually flick between all the mainstream news channels, and Aljazeera, and then I listen to that Ted Tucker dude and the Liz woman who are both from Fox, and I’m listening to Shapiro’s nightly round-ups. That gives me a fairly wide cross section. I’m going more and more right as the days roll by, MSM are just bullshit artists and have given up reporting any news, they’re a shameless platform for the left, is all. I’m no Trump supporter either, but I’d do like the fact that he’s brought everyone out of the woodwork, it’s polarizing but it’s good. We need to see everyone’s true colours. This is where you lose me. You say MSM is for the left. Who decides what is MSM? Many would consider Fox in the US to be MSM. In Australia, MSM is very much right wing, and I know this because I worked in the field. I also know this because it does not take a rocket scientist to look at who owns the media in Aus and which side they lean.

So to come out and say that MSM are bullshit and are a platform for the left is huge irony. Are Fox not a platform for the right? Is NewsCorp not a platform for the right? Are they not MSM.

The right will basically say anything to fit their narrative. One day they will say burgers are amazing. Then the next day they will come out and say, "I never said that".

I try to be very objective. My political views have changed a lot of the years, but the more I hear the right speak, the more I realise how inept and false they are. I also realise how much they will push their agenda even if it contradicts something they said previously. They have no principle and that is a big problem. They have gone so far right that they have lost sight of right.

You say they have stopped reporting news, well the truth is, and it may not fit your narrative, but the "MSM" that you hate are reporting more news than your precious Shapiro, Tucker and the sad excuse for journalists at Fox. The news is to serve the governed, not the governors. The news is to hold those in power accountable. The news is to report the facts, not fit agendas. You may not like it because that orange muppet has his ego hurt every now and again, but that is actual news, not the other stuff. The other stuff is propaganda.

There are plenty people worthy of opposing Trump. Many have come to the fore, but your right wing media has done a wonderful job of turning the people in to idiots who believe they don't deserve health care and that owning a gun is better than a kids education. It speaks more to the brains and humanity of the right that a brick wall makes more sense than their leader.

I think there’s a bit of confusion in that you keep referring to Australian politics, which I don’t know anything about, nor their news channels or the hosts.
I think FOX is probably MSM in America by now because their viewership has increased so dramatically. There’s only so many times even the most moderate person can switch on CNN and listen to Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon before you start praying that they have a car accident, those two would turn Gandhi into a Nazi.
I haven’t watched NewsCorp and as I said we don’t get Fox but the more radical CNN, SKY, BBC become the more the right news channels will gain traction.
For sure the news is supposed to be there to make people accountable, but they spend every minute hysterically bashing Trump, who has not done a bad job.
Hi latest offering has been to cut US funding to WHO, which I think is bloody fantastic. Let’s see what climbs out of the woodwork there now.
You can’t seriously be blaming right wing news channels for the Democrats failure to find someone better than Bernie, Biden or Pelosi? I’m afraid they’re the best you’re going to find because they’re an agglomeration of people that are professional blood suckers. They’re so useless that Bernie doesn’t even like them.
The biggest fraud of them all was actually Obama, he could actually speak so managed to hide his extremely radical views. I sincerely hope Shapiro gets his day in court with him.

BS has a very simple playbook. He's like that tailender who can swat good length balls to cow corner, and when you look at the scorecard you think "75 of 80...hmmm this guy can bat!" Shapiro doesn't say anything different than Sean Hannity or Tomi Lahren or Tucker Carlson. So why does he get all the hype? My answer is because of his demeanor. He sounds like a know-it-all and that creates the illusion that he's an informed authority when he's just a young guy with an opinion just like Tomi Lahren.

How do you take a news channel seriously that dedicates long periods to filming Cuomo holed up in his house pretending he has Covid spouting his incessant venom towards Trump. CNN have lost the plot.
Then they champion that evil racist Trevor Noah with his Daily Show that advocates the killing of white South Africans. The world needs a reset.
